Loveland is my home
I have called Loveland home for over 40 years. I met my high school sweetheart in Loveland, and after returning home from our military service, this is where we planted our roots and raised our family. Loveland will always be my home.
I'm prepared to lead
My successful executive-management career experiences have prepared me to lead our city through the tough challenges we’re facing today. My proven track record in team-building, strategic planning, executive management, and innovative solutions will help our community thrive.
I have a heart for service
I am an active volunteer in our community, serving as co-chair for the Loveland Rotary Duck Race, board member with the NOCO Home Builders Association Foundation, and Meals on Wheels volunteer. As an Army veteran, I enjoy any opportunity to give back to the veteran community, especially if I can include ice cream in the process! I believe a community that cares about quality of life for its residents can have a voice in shaping its future.
Life's challenges have built me
My father passed away when I was 10, shortly after we moved to Loveland. Then it was just my two sisters, my mother, and me, which was a difficult time for all of us. My mother (a hero!) was strong, and I learned from her how to thrive in challenging circumstances. Her fortitude and inspiration have driven me throughout my life to overcome my own challenges. As a single mom for many years, I worked two (sometimes three) jobs to provide for my family. I intimately understand how critical it is to have opportunities in a community for everyone. Now I have four grown children and three beautiful grandchildren that I share with my husband Mike.
